LF report that captures full payroll run

I'd like to have a report that captures full data for the payroll run for our historical records, i.e.:

• The full amount and breakdown of the payroll between employee payments, government remittance. and fees (something similar to what we get in the Pay Run history with Detail)

• Breakdown of employee pay stubs for all employees, with individual amounts of salary and deductions (pay cheque report, but preferably in columns rather than individual pay stubs)

• Breakdown of government remittances, for employees and the company

• related ePay banking transactions (like the ePay report)

This is what we used to get in a big paper bundle from ADP. Not that we liked the big paper bundle, but at least you could go to a an individual historical payroll report and find out everything about that payroll run. I think all the information is there with Payroll, but one has to run several different reports and combine them offline. I was hoping the Dynamic Report could do something, but it appears to capture only a limited subset of employee paycheque data.

Have I missed a report somewhere that could do this? If not, could we get one in the future?

  Thanks for the feedback. There are two reports that encapsulate the details you are looking for:

  Pay Run History - this provides the following data points: Start date, End date, Payment date, pay type / frequency, number of employees, date created, gross pay, insurable earnings, remittance, provincial remittance. If you click "show company details" you'll also see the company portions of EI, CPP, QPP, QPIP and HSF. These data points are broken down by individual payrun. You can also export this data in a spreadsheet format like XLS or save as a PDF.

  Dynamic Report - this allows you to query and generate a custom report. You can, for instance, produce a report that shows employees, pay run amounts, remittance amounts (employee portion) as well as a detailed breakdown of any custom deductions, benefits or earnings (by payrun, by employee etc). However, the dynamic report currently will not provide a cost breakdown of company CPP, EI or other programs by employee. We are working on adding that in for you.
