Interim reports - filter, delete or hide

It would be nice to be able to delete the Interim reports. I know there is a reply in support saying they are helpful with audit trails, but interim reports are equivalent to un-posted transactions, and there is nothing wrong with deleting an accounting transaction that has yet to be posted. Maybe the ability to hide them would be a good compromise?

  A filter has been added to all reports that have an interim and final status
